MP2000 Add Toner Message

Replaced drum / dev a while back, all worked fine, now suddenly it is asking for toner, even when full bottle inside. All turning fine, no binds. Any ideas?

if there is plenty of toner in the entrance to the dev unit then it is a dev drive issue, usually the stirrer gears on dev unit, if there is no toner at the enterance of the dev unit then it is toner supply unit with a blockage, maybe even a previous bottle seal left behind preventing the new bottle from being opened when the handle is closed

It may be all turning fine, but is the toner bottle actually locked in? In other words, does the "bottle chuck" actually open up when the toner lever is released to allow the bottle to be 'pulled in' when it's lowered? I also have to ask....any chance the plunger from the previous toner bottle is still stuck in the front of the hopper? Other than that, you're likely looking at a TD sensor.

did you initialize the td sensor when you replaced the drum / dev ?

My money is on the bung from the previous bottle blocking the hopper....and a new toner supply unit is pretty cheap as a part anyways.
