Hello,
Machine's color registration is off, if you run color registration from user tools it will help for 1 or 2 prints, but soon goes off. It happens to all 3 colors (C,M,Y) and the amount its off by varies. Also its always in the subscan or direction of feed.
I ran forced line position adjustment with SP2-111-001 , mode C then mode A, and machine shows results in SP2-194-007 as 0=completed successfully. Also SP2-194-010 , -011, -012 for the colors show results of 1=Complete with no problems.
Usually after running the forced line position adjustment the colors will be aligned perfectly, but after 1 or 2 prints it starts to get worse. I've tried some countermeasures from the manual but doesn't seem to help.
No density problems, cleaned ID sensor, ID sensor shutter motor works, inspected transfer unit, machine only has 100k prints.
I'm leaning towards replacing the Transfer Belt Unit or ID Sensor. But because the line position adjustments run with no errors I am not sure which to try first. Any other ideas or tests I can run?
Thanks,
MNTECH
