Re: "Switch Original Counter Display" on color MFPs
On the MPC range on normally gets to chose (once!) between developments (counts 4 for every print) and prints, depending on how the machine was sold - on what copy cost contract.
One can also (in service mode) switch on a mode, which will show copies and prints seperate on the counter page - I believe it is called accounting counter, if memory serves.
What do you need to change as far as copy count goes?

This has nothing to do with the machine's total counter.
I need the original counter of the copy screen to count copies instead of sheets.
Let me elaborate: If you copy one sheet of paper in duplex mode, I want the machine to count 2 originals instead of 1 original.
That's what that option that I'm pointing at on the copier/document server options does - but that option doesn't exist on the MPC range. How can I change it?

Indeed.
I already skimmed through all the SP modes and couldn't find one that did what I need. Yet I know many times the SP description is not clear on what it does, that's why I'm asking here if somebody knows how.
