    Ricoh MP161

We have a Ricoh MP 161 multifunction printer that we want to get setup to scan to a folder on our Windows Server 2008 domain controller.
    It doesn't work !
    I've read that Ricoh
don't really support scanning to a folder on a domain. (in the past?)
Is this issue resolved by firmware upgrade or is this problem still there on an MP161

    anyone ?, Thanks in advance

The NIB firmware needs to be at least version 6.17 (B8925526G), or the equivalent for your language/country/etc, to work with Windows Server 2008 correctly (you can use a lower firmware version but some problems still remain). You will need to update the firmware first, if you are a Ricoh engineer you should have access to these files, if not you will need to hire a Ricoh trained engineer.
