    I believe you're refering to a rescue SD card that is used in certain models to recover the machine when a firmware update goes wrong or the firmware gets corrupted and the machine is unable to boot up or rewrite the firmware.

    It's a protected SD card, so it's nothing you can download - you need to order it from Ricoh, and there's one specific to each model, although I don't know if every model has one - I've only used it once on a 2075.

      You will see it on for instance a MP2000SPF if you remove the entire controller box so that only the BCU is left. Then it will start up with the normal PLEASE WAIT but with "(BOOT SD CARD)" above it.
      Press the GREEN button!!
