Ricoh MP161 and MAC

No experience on installing this machine on a MAC.
customer can't get it working.
Do you need postscript to run this on a MAC
And can you scan to folder ?

You need a PS3-Unit, and yes, you can scan to folder with this machine.

To install the printer driver, just run the .DMG install file and add the printer. To set up scan to folder you can use the attached guide.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that SMB is available beyond OSX 10.6 (??)

It is replaced with an Apple alternative, however it can re-replaced with SMBUp.

Go to the wwww.gutenprint.com and download this program for MAC OS ??? (depending on who you should number OS).Instal this program and after that you can easy install
printer driver.

You do not need gutenprint, the MP161 comes with PS compatibility by default.
