Paper jam (MP 4000B)

There is no paper jamming occurs when using bypass unit and tray 1. Using tray 2, 3 and 4, paper does not pass through the registration roller and goes under the transfer unit instead. I thought there is a problem in the transfer unit because there is a broken part in it.So i requested a new one and replaced it but still same problem. Paper guide plates are all good.Checked the gears and cleaned the transport belt but still same problem.

Guys, do you have any idea why it is happening??

I would check for the black dust cover guide at registration. Is it Z-fold when you fed it from tray2 - 4?

The dust cover in the registration unit is missing..
