Do you know if there are differences between the NRG toner for Ricoh MPC 2500 and equivalents. They can be installed respectively? thanks

Yes, it is important not to create trouble entering because I already bought those NRG since no other. Thanks (forgive the errors caused by my translation)Comment

Re: compatibility Toner Ricoh MPC 2500
Doesn't matter if the bottle says Ricoh/Nashuatec/Infotec/Savin/Lanier/NRG, as long as it's for an MPC2500 (although some of those brands may actually have a different model name, Infotec, Savin and Lanier usually had their own names for machines, Gestetner branded machines used to be either Dsm*** or Dsc*** but they did away with that by this generation and just used the Ricoh model name) it will fit and work
Be careful though as a toner cart for an MPC3500/4500 isn't physically compatable, both model ranges take the same developer so therefore the toner contained within the cartridge is the same, but unfortunately an MPC3500 cart won't fit into an MPC2500. I know this from experience with a customer who had both types of machines onsite, ran out of toner with the MPC2500 and tried to borrow a bottle from the MPC3500. Unfortunately when it didn't fit, they didn't do the sensible thing and ask us whether it's compatible, they simply took a run up and wedged it in as hard as they physically could, realised at that point that it still wasn't going to work, tried to cover their tracks by yanking the bottle out which had the effect of breaking off the wedged shutter end, deluging the machine and the hapless customer in a thick coat of black toner.
Not a good day to come to work in a white shirt.Comment

Re: compatibility Toner Ricoh MPC 2500
You can get compatible toner which fits multiple machine families; however it is non-genuine, which means blocked pumps and poor quality. So don't do it, unless you are really desperate.

Re: compatibility Toner Ricoh MPC 2500
I've come -this- close to having that happen, TWICE. Both times I caught the user in the act of yanking on the bottle, and managed to convince them to let me have a go with the screwdriver.
Hint: Take the tray insert out of the machine and you can usually get a screwdriver between the molded toner end piece and the machine frame, you can then lever the toner bottle out without putting stress on the join between the bottle and the nozzle.Comment

Laughed? I nearly wet myself!
The funniest thing was listening to a furious woman in a (formerly) light grey trouser suit try and bullsh*t me about how all this happened.
Naturally none of this was her fault as she saw it, it was these stupid machines that don't tell you clearly enough when they're nearly out of toner, one of her inconsiderate colleagues who didn't order another bottle, myself for not carrying spare toner for emergencies like this and the manufacturer (Ricoh) for not spelling out clearly enough what toner goes in what machine (despite printing it quite clearly on the box it came in what model is was for)
I charged them for the call out and labour, and another funny thing was, the MPC3500 they borrowed the bottle from was supplied by a competitor so they weren't getting a replacement bottle from us for that!! They had to call them up and explain how they ruined a perfectly good brand new full bottle of toner.Comment
