Aficio MP C2051 Pixalated color

My customer is printing full color 8.5x11 almost 100% coverage and the pages are printing fast enough but come out pixelated on most pages. Anyone have any ideas? Printing from Win 8 adobe acrobat 10 or office 8. TIA

You could try setting the machine to a thicker paper type but I don't think it will help, this machine is really not built to do solid colour, they just don't have the fuser to cope with it.

I know it's not the same machine, but I have a customer with a 2027 that just downgraded to windows 8, and he is experiencing pixelated printing, too on some documents. The "Ricoh Class" driver embedded in Win 8 appears to be a POS that doesn't work well.

Try using the Windows 7 driver: the binaries for Windows 7 and 8 are identical and the Ricoh drivers are the same. Ricoh's been pushing out a lot of updated drivers over the last month or so.

I did. I downloaded the 7 driver twice. It wouldn't let me unpack it, or delete it. It may just be my ignorance with the OS, which is also a POS. Tile menu structure and and obvious leap to a touchscreen monitor? Are you f&cking kidding me? MS does it again.
