Ricoh MP 9000 side registration

Hey guys
I have this MP 9000 that keeps changing it's side to side registration on 81/2 x 14 out of tray 2. We are not having any issues with 81/2 x 11 out of tray 1 and tray 3 has 17" which seems fine also. I have cleaned the optical sensor for this before the registration roller but didn't help. It seems to change from day to day. I can adjust it one day then it's different the next. Is there a way to turn this auto adjust feature off?

Setup basic authentication for the device so when you hit the user tools button it comes up with both the advanced settings for operators buttons appear

In there turn off the CIS and setup your trimming lines from either tray 2 or 3 as they are set in and can not be mechanically adjusted
