    Ricoh 3245c Drum rebuild kits from Katun

    Hi all , are the drum rebuild kits from Katun for the 3245c copiers any good?

    Yeah they are ok not got many of them left now, and what is left is low volume so I can't comment on heavily used machines. I don't think I would use them in a volume environment though. But for what we need they work for us

      Copylite also sells a kit to rebuild them. I find Copylite's drums last longer and give darker solids.

        katun drums dont last long,much softer exterior...
        dont know if you know this but you can use the old 3800 drums on these wth a little modification
        "clipping the black pin on the front"..
        i have a few spare of the oem ricoh if you need them..

          Rather than messing around with unreliable/unpredictable aftermarket kits. I just stock 2238C drum units and swap the front faceplate (2 screws). Works perfectly, and half the price of the 3245C version
