    [Misc] Ricoh MP6002

    Hi everyone,
    LCD screen about 50% is grey but the touch panel is working
    Please find an attachment below

    Looks to me like there is a fault on the lcd or lcd to driver part of the panel. Remember the touch part is a lose glass overlay that sits on top of the display and would work even if the whole display were to be grey!

    I would swop the lcd panel for starters. It almost looks like what some laptop displays do when the ribbon cable that attaches the lcd to the driver board, starts to de-laminate on the lcd side.

      have you tried calibrating the screen?

        calibrating doesn't fix graphic errors - ith either the LCD board or the lcd panel, perhaps an improper connection

            is calibrating hard to do?I am only asking and i am not saying that it will fix the problem. imho it is better to start from that point when troubleshooting a screen .
