[Misc] MPC305SPF Toner end with toner in bottle

We have a customer with two 305s, and on one of them the customer constantly keeps replacing the toner bottles with toner still on the bottles. We've checked and the customer replaces the toner only when the machine stops - so why is toner still on the bottle?

The other machine works fine (according to the customer), and the customer even puts the used bottles with toner still in them on the non-problematic machine to finish the toner.

Could this be caused by the high coverage rate of the prints? We're talking x-rays and other stuff here, but both machines do this kind of job - the only difference is the copy count, the trouble machine has a higher tc than the other.

Worn developer maybe? Can you swap the dev unit for the offending colour between machines and see if the fault follows it?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.
