    MP 6001 cannot access web image monitor

    Cannot access Web Image Monitor....i can telnet to the machine, but no luck with web image monitor. I checked to make sure SP5828 was on for telnet and web. i tried clearing the nvram for web and ncs, but i could not (see attached picture). I will pull out the fax board to see if this is causing it (saw a similar post that was resolved with the removal of the fax board)

      Does everything else work? Printing and scanning?

      If not,
      What about SP5985-001 (on board NIC)

      0: OFF, 1: ON, 2: ON: Limited
      When the "Function limitation" is set, "On board NIC" is
      limited only for the @Remote or LDAP/NT authentication.
      ฦ’ Other network applications such as
      WebImageMonitor, @Remote, or LDAP/NT
      authentication are not available when this SP is
      set to "2". Even if you can change the initial
      settings of those network applications, settings
      may not actually work.

      * Even if it is at "1" already, you might try changing it to something else, rebooting, and then back to "1"

          Thanks...i noticed it was set to "2" will set it to "1"

          Printing, scanning and LDAP seach works normal.

              Is it a previous working machine? If not; we got a bunch of these machines back from a bank, and of course they were locked down tight! On ours, you could access almost everything, except WIM nor print to it. Bank changed passwords & wouldn't play nice and share (or change back).
              If you go to Print List (user tools, system settings, interface settings) it will show you if the access control is limited to a certain IP range, I was able to cross over (with my laptop in their range) and WIM then delete the access limits.

                  Set to "1" machine works great and WIM is up and running.
