    MP C4500 Quality

    Dear folks,
i attach below a printed file from an MP C4500 that i have never serviced before and i know nothing about it's service history. It has 324K B&W and 82K Cl. on the clock.
The first 92-94mm from Lead edge to Trail edge are printed perfectly, but the rest of a printout is so..cloudy!!! This attachment is printed on glossy paper 160gr.,but it doesn't matter if it is A4, or A3 dimension, cardstock, etc...
A fuser module replacement did not fix the problem for a previous tech...,customer reports.
At the moment i am trying to understand these cloudy deletions where the color is not shiny and it seems that color has gone!!! Maybe a re-transfer??? Fuser isn't so dirty...
    Has anyone seen this before?
Thanks a lot for any inputs, have a nice weekend!

Print out a test print (Printer SP, SP1-103-002) on normal A4 paper and see if the colours are ok. Check also all PM-counters and replace if necessary. If the testprint is ok then it's likely that the paper is the cause of this, or the paper weight settings are not correct. You're not using inkjet paper, right, because that will ruin your Fusing Unit. There are some kinds of paper that just can't be printed properly. You can better tell your customer to use a different kind of paper, instead of adjusting SP-settings specifically for that kind of paper.

is this a copy of print? are the voids always in the same place? are these voids repeats? check the transfer belt and drums, do a panic stop and check the image on the transfer belt. I cant see the voids clearly but it may be from the laser or the ipu board if printed or the sbu board if scanning.
      good luck.

You say that another fuser has been tried, but I doubt that it was a "new" unit. It looks to me that the oil and cleaning roller needs replacement

x2 on that one, they are the parts I would be replacing first
