    I agree. He said in his frst post that he was having the problem before he used the WD40.

      hello folks thanks for the suggestions you have given me especially on dw-40, but in any case i did it as the last resort. on the machine being in a dust area. its not true its really in a clean enviroment, i have tried dusting all the sensors but all in vain. am gona try replacing the clutch or try cleaning it. but still once again thanks for the advise all those who contributed to solving these once thought nightmare

        Check your ADF jam history. This will tell you which sensor is detecting the jam. Print out Logging Data (SP5-990-004). It's very difficult to troubleshout without knowing which sensor is detecting the jam.
