[CQ] ricoh mp c3000 half washed out black on bottom half of 8.11 paper

I am currently working on a ricoh mp c3000 and my issue is washed out blacks on mfp, the issue is not consistent, it happens sporadically and only on black. I have swapped out dev. unit, pcu, transfer roller and belt. I still have the issue, it happens on copies and prints. Any ideas?

Does the laser unit still have the shutter attached, if so best remove it.

Ruben got in there before me with this one, almost certainly the laser shutter, but when you remove it, ensure you only remove the shutter itself, if you remove the mechanism that moves it you will get an SC code
