I see this as a trend today, like people will have everything "served" with no effort for them self. It is easier to bother 10-20 people than reading through the threads.

And it's Not only on this kind forum, but actually everywhere on the Internet and in the real world too...

People don't search the forum to find an older thread about possible solutions to a similar problem they are having, they just start a new post. Lazy. And people don't read the post very well before offering help either since the original post said that there was no print controller, yet 3 techs suggested hdd fixes. No print controller, no hdd.

I love the site. I think it is fantastic. Hopefully we can all improve in making it better.

If it is the controller board, make certain that the customer knows that the main power should never be turned off if the operation switch is On or Blinking. According to TSB-038 Reissue, the Basic model of this line can damage the controller board if not turned off properly.

    Hi,
I am trying to fix the unit .Machine's physical condition is as under. I interviewed the operator(accused one).
The machine is without hard disk and print option etc. It's a simple copier MP5000B and the problem occur during a sudden switching of light.

I could not understand that of serial number of BICU and NVRAM.

Trying to enter SP mode through SP mode but did not do so. SC-819 on display and unit stand still.
I am very obliged to the seniors for very precious guidance. Thanks to all and still wandering for the fix.

SC 819 on this machine is very common and pretty much always the controller occasionally may also be be the BICU.

Please give some solution to get rid of it.
No fax unit unit is in machine and no print controller etc.I am very new to these models.
Prior to the SC-819 first occurring did you or anyone else try to enable the network interface using SP 5985-001 without first installing the additional memory? If so, you will need to install the additional 256K of memory, Memory Unit Type G. If the addition memory has been installed, it could be not seated properly or bad.
