I am curious if anyone else has had issues with the fuser sleeve design on the 4502 Code D143/144 models. I have about 4 of these machines in my area all less then 300k pages and have had to replace hot roller sleeve unit on all of them at least 2 or 3 times. Two common issues between all 4 of the machines is either 1 the sleeve somehow gets crinkled in the center which then sounds like a crunched pop can with poor fusing or the other failure is lots of build up on the separation bar in the center which eventually builds up and starts scratching off the sleeve surface and this is happening within 25-40k pages on all of these.
None of them are run under any extreme paper types the customers are running 90% 8.5x11 and small amount of 11x17 plain 20# paper for both nothing that would seem to cause crinkling the sleeve, as for the toner build up not sure if it its not heating properly or what.
Is anyone running a different fuser in these with success or even having these issues, i have been going through hot rollers like crazy on them.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
