You can start with switching the machine on with the front door open, to prevent the fusing unit from warming up, and work from there. You can also try another outlet, in some room at the other end of the building. Maybe there's something wrong with the electrical system at the customers' site.

looks like electrical overload on the customer. perhaps the machine is plug in on a extention cable hosting multiple appliance... anyhow good luck Sir.
fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.

Perhaps someone has an electric heater setting under his or her desk on the same circuit breaker. 1200 watt heater and a 12 amp copy machine add up to more than the 20 amps that most office circuits are. HAVE THEM PROVIDE A DEDICATE 20 AMP CIIRCUIT JUST FOR THE COPIER. This will power the copier plus your vaccuum and you laptop.

try taking out the fusing unit and turn on the machine and see if it still trips off the power. it will display an sc but you can clear the sc by 7807 after you put back the fusing unit.

All that can be accomplished by simply leaving the front cover opened, as Eric stated in the first reply.
ALSO, SP7807 resets the SC/Jam counter only.
Although, in a way you're right, because by simply entering SP mode on this model and rebooting machine, the SC reset is done anyway. However, the SC log is something we often want to maintain

Replace the either one or both of the thermostat housing (G065-4105) will solve the problem.

I had the same problem, replaced the entrire fusing unit (changing only thermistors and thermostat didn't work), and the machine works fine without any problem
