    W2400 outdated firmware

    Hi, All. I am trying to set up scanning for a W2400 at a location using server 2012 r2. There is no firmware listed on TSRC released after 2010 for this machine. That would explain why it's not scanning, I guess. Anyone know where the latest and greatest firmware can be found, or even if it's possible for this model to scan to server 2012?

      My Ricoh has the latest at 2010 for everything except Printer Controller (2013) and Ratio Controller (2011). Looks like it is time for some old fashioned FTP, or get Exchange installed.

          Special/Custom firmware for Win8/Server2012 is available from rfg-esource dated 4/10/2013. Remote rfg056527, SD Card rfgrfg056202. Learn how to use the Search function of rfg-esource. They frequently have the Special/Custom listed even when TSRC doesn't

              That's friggin stupid. Why the hell don't they have up to date firmware listed on the TSRC firmware history, or available on the firmware SD card tab? Maybe that's to easy. Lets spend time needed for machine repair looking for shit that should be all in in one place. OK, rant finished. BTW, thanks for the info, Slim. It may save the day tomorrow.
