Smart Op Panels and SDK apps

    Hi, Gang,

Has anyone seen any trace of the ISDK applications yet, whether it be for GlobalScan, CAP, eCopy, Equitrac, etc?

I know we get the third party versions from the other companies. No info yet.

I last read that the new versions would be out in January 2014, but nothing since.

    Thanks!

The last I read was that Ricoh is still working on the ISDK VM. Until they have the VM itself working properly on the Android OS, they can't release apps for it.

No idea on that one, sorry.

I've got a new customer getting a herd of shiny new MPC4503s with the SOPs, and they want either Streamline or Equitac.

No banana on either one at this point, then. Grrrrrrrrrr....

I feel the pain!! We installed a MPC4503 with the SOP Nov or Dec of '13 and told the customer that it should support the app (Equitrac)in Jan '14.... that hasn't happened yet.......................

              I have a hunch that's a common problem.

I would expect that Ricoh will first release it for their own enablers, then eventually the other vendors will develop theirs based on what specs they are supplied with.

              May be a while.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I downloaded it and did a quick look through. I think be something that Ricoh's IT support division services.
