Data obtained by scanning originals can be stored in the hard disk of the machine using the Document Server, and the stored data can be used later. Using DeskTopBinder V2 Lite/Professional, stored data can be viewed, retrieved, or deleted with a client computer.

How can you tell when a salesman is lying?

              His lips are moving.

Haven't worked with DTB in a long time...but if you have the documents in DTB now, why don't you Print them to Document Server on the new machine. Yeah it's a lot of time and work. Better yet...sit the Salesman down in front of a computer and make him earn his commission.

Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.

Similar to what KopyKat said, why not just open the web interface of the machine you want to transfer documents from, open the files and print them each to the doc server of the new machine? It may be a bit of a hassle if there's a lot of them, but with the file format converters installed you will at least be able to open them.
I just tested it with my two shop machines and it works. Just choose properties of the file you want to transfer, enlarge the image and print the PDF that opens to the new machine.
