    [Misc] MPC4503 Blank Pages being scanned.

    I am trying to get a MPC 4503 to not scan through blank pages when scanning to email during duplex scanning. There is a setting in user tools in scan settings. I think its called blank page detect. I set it at on. Still scanning blank pages. Set it off. Its still doing it. Any help with this matter folks?

      I think that "Blank Page Detect" is only for the last sheet when doing duplex scanning. If you have one sided pages in the middle of the document, you will need to use "Batch Document Scan".

          iirc blank page detect just "looks" at the first page scanned through the adf and if its blank it beeps. i think its there to prevent the user from placing the originals the wrong way.
          i think to do what you're looking for requires an extra extended feature like autostore etc.
