2045 bad imnage on glass only

Ive attached the two , one is doc feed/fine copy the othe is on the glass ,some kinda graphically placed image is the best i can describe it, any ideas besides the machine is ten years old and belongs to a guy who thinks they last forever...LOL

Try lifting up the left corner of the scanner they tended to get bent like the 1018s did when someone leant on it too hard.

on the back side? this is on the back side of the scan towards the back of the machine where the scanner hinges are, i put paper over the copy and still have this, thinking it was light coming through

Clean the mirrors. As the scanner moves out, the projection path on the mirrors moves. When the scanner is at the slit glass for doc feed, that portion of the mirrors are clean. As the scanner moves out, the projection path falls on a dirty portion of the mirrors.
