[Electrical] Pro 1357ex Web Motor not turning?

After some help with this please?

Fitted new web motor but it's still not turning.

Checked harness for continuity and that's all good.

Not too sure what to check next?

Cleaned contacts on fuser and back of machine.

    Anyone had this?

    Many thanks.

remove front web motor's cover where web motor is installed
use door cheater and enter in SP mode number 5804 034 and check after pressing 'on' on the right column web motor have to turn on and off in a second (web motor not turn on continuously)
if not check voltage on web motor's connector, may be new motor is defective.

Agree if all that is ok must be BCU or paper in fuser connecter

Thanks for your replies. Motor doesn't turn in output mode but works fine on 1107 next to it. Also no paper in connectors.

Was going to try swapping fuser from 1107, but not sure if they're interchangeable as hot roller is different part number?

Sounds like it's probably the bcu then, anyone know if the bcu from mp1350 would work?

        Many thanks and good night

How much of the harness did you check? You need to check from the motor all the way to the PCB. First should be a continuity check at the back of the 1357. If you can read from the motor to the connector fusing unit but you cannot read continuity at the back of the machine, you have a problem with the connector.

Only checked from motor to connector on back of fuser. Will spin machine around to check the rest today.

            Thanks for your help.

Just to clarify the web motor goes back to CN310 of the IOB not the BICU

Thanks for all your help. Turned out to be the IOB PCB.

What's the chance the IOB from a MP 1350 would work even though it's a different part number?

                Slim to none?

                Cheers.
