Good prints,good scans but lite copies on 3228C..

hi
i have my last 3228c that i prepping to move and in both adf and glass copying my copies come out lite{sorta like very moist paper} no fill and i tried auto,manual and b/w and color and i can t get good fill.

the scans are solid and the prints perfect.
before i adjust something i regret is there something im missing?

Sometimes the scanner is a little bent. Gently try to pull up on the left front corner or the scanning unit (the corner that's not supported by any part of the frame), or Gently push down on that corner while copying and see if it makes any improvement. I've seen this on some older models where customers have leaned on the copier or used that corner for moving the machine and it causes skewing and shading issues. I'm guessing you've already cleaning the optics, glass/mirrors and looking for some other cause.

i ve seen the bent frame on the older b/w 220 copiers.
i ended up do a forced line ck and few others and got it close..]
still a bit lite on copy but acceptable..
