    PRO C900

    Hi All

    Can you do an all clear on a Colour pro 900 or does it bugger up the copy quality ? the fiery does not come to ready, it was then I plugged a pc into it and now it wont ?? any help appreciated

      I would not do an all clear on the c900, unless you have the original birth certificate for the c900....Bad things can and probably will happen...... If the Fiery would'nt come to ready I would reload the Fiery OS.........

          Connect a monitor, keyboard, mouse directly to the fiery tower. Then when you boot the fiery, you can watch it boot to Windows XP.
          You will be able to see if it is hanging somewhere.

              thanks for your reply being new to these machines and wishing I hadn't bothered, how do you reload the Fiery OS

                  The standard Fiery is internal and I'm not sure the E-40 supports the FACI kit as out of the box

                      It does, I've done it many times, it's a great way to see whats going on. Some customers use this method to run command workstation right there on top of the machine.
                      It's also a great way to reload the OS, you can follow right along with it.
