what do you exprect from this update - iirc there is no SMB fix for newer MS OS available

Im having trouble logging onto the WIM.

When entering admin and 'blank' password, the web page simply hangs with the internet explorer circle going round like its waiting for the web page to respond.

If I power it off then on, I can log on as supervisor but that's it. I want to be able to view settings on the WIM.

well that's odd - have you tried a different browser?

Not shure if some other configuration mess might cause this. You can also try a memory clear, with resetting SP8-808-4 -END (there are many sub-SPs - just skip the first 3 ones to avoid messing with the engine data) - or pick the NIC related memory clear options first.

Does the machine seem slow to boot up
Have you tried removing memory and cleaning contacts
also try formatting HDD beware this will remove any address book

Supervisor only give u access to change the Admin password
login as supervisor reset the admin password to what ever u want
then try loggin back in as admin

Don't use internet explorer. Try Chrome or firefox. There hasn't been any new firmware for the c2500 since oct 2011.

Is the WIM stored in the HD? Or in one of the firmware ?

no it boots fine.

i have another machine to compare with.

just tried formatting the HD but same result

WIM is not on the HDD. There is Special/Custom firmware available in the US for SMD scan to Windows 8 and Server 2012. B2385605L LRC0451 Dated 2/6/13.
