    3224C Display

    Hello

Had an accident over the weekend and cracked the display screen on the machine. Is there a company I can get a second hand unit from as I have tried Ricoh here in New Zealand, no luck.

    Thanks for any advice.

Not sure if you mean just the touch panel (glass) or the whole LCD screen?
The Original P/N for the glass was B213 5222, and the LCD B213 5225
Either way, both were common among several different models (Below). Maybe a dealer has a parts machine with a good LCD and/or touch screen.
    Otherwise ebay (?)

I believe its only the glass as all the icons are still shown under the glass but I can't change any of the setting. I have not removed it from the machine yet but will post a photo soon.

Yip it is only the touch panel "overlay" that is cracked. Thankfully the lcd below is still ok. As per the previous post, you can use any one on the models listed if you can find a second hand op panel.

It is a bit of work as there are plenty screws holding the circuitry to the back of the op panel, and all these need to be remove to extract the touch panel glass.

When you re-assemble, just be mindful that the touch panel is resting between locating "dots" that are in each corner of the actual op panel frame. If this is not the case, the glass will crack when you tighten the circuit boards back onto the op panel frame. Basically the glass needs to lay flat on the op panel frame and not raised in any of the corners.

Last part number I knew was H310 9900. Don't know if it's still valid.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Hit it.

Can anyone advise where I can buy an overlay?

Remember to mount it with the correct side up.
Please start you post with brand, model, problem.
