I have an MP6000 that will intermittently show the wrong paper size and or direction on tray 2. I have changed the paper size switch and the paper tray itself. They have 8 1/2x11 SEF in the drawer but it will show A4 or 8 1/2x11 LEF. I have tried adjusting the fences and I can get it to work more often but will still show the wrong size or direction every 10th time you close the drawer. Tray 3 works fine with either size switch and tray and the firmware has been updated. I have also seen this same problem on 5560 and 3260's.

there are some sensors on the backside of the tray on the machine itself that can act up, or you can default the tray to that size if they know they wont be changing it. -

Hello. I had the same problem. on two different machines and in one case were the sensors and the other one I resolved from the web browser, at the option of the tray2 put it fixed and not auto, hope to help, Greetings
