    MPC5000 sc 548

Any Ideas, i cleaned the sensors the code went by by for a few days, its back.
What else could cause this intermittently?

    Rotational error (fuser).

Make sure the firmware is up to date, the engine fw has a detection fix for SC548.

Of course if the fusing rollers movement isn't smooth under tension or if the sensor for rotational wheel / feeler is dirty or faulty it may throw that error as well.

Also check the ends of the hot roller to check that the foam hasn't broken away from the main shaft and that all the bearings are in good condition and turning freely.

I don't know how much this will help, but you might want to put a line monitor on that machine. The machine plugs into the line monitor, and the line monitor records voltage fluctuations from the outlet the machine was plugged in to. I've seen enough error codes caused by line voltage fluctuations which were fixed by simply resetting them that you may wish to consider this also.

Check the rotation sensor bracket. The bracket gets bent just a little and works intermittently. Good Luck!

          Hi there!
Take a look at the sensor, there was 1 machine where the bracket was not bend, but the clips (or "feet") of the sensor was bent. This causes moving the sensor and sc-548 every now and then.
          Greetings...
