Re: Ricoh pro1356ex - SC 202
Replace the polygon mirror motor.
As for the restarting, change SP 5875-001 from 0 (Default setting) to 1.
On: default: 0 (Reboots automatically) The machine reboots automatically when the machine issues an SC error and logs the SC error code. If the same SC occurs again, the machine displays the error code and does not reboot.
OFF: 1 Displays error code and does not reboot automatically.
I have already replaced the polygon mirror motor. I remove the engine from the pro1356 and place it in another machine (I have a MP9000) and it works great. In fact at this time shows the error with the engine of that machine (MP9000)
thanks for answer!Leave a comment:

Ricoh pro1356ex - SC 202
Hello !
I have a Ricoh pro 1356ex. Constantly displays the error code 202. But before that ussually shows requires restart and when the machine restart it shows the SC 202.
Manual Says:
Polygon Motor Error 1: ON Timeout
The polygon mirror motor did not reach its operating speed within 20 s after the polygon motor switched on.
Causes:
• Connection between the polygon mirror motor control board and the motor is loose, broken, or defective
• Polygon mirror motor defective
• Polygon mirror motor control board defective
• IPU defective
• BCU defective
What I Did:
Change the polygon mirror motor - Continues to show the error
Change polygon mirror motor control board - Continues to show the error
IPU Defective - I have not changed yet
BCU Defective - I have not changed yet
besides what I have not changed. What advice can you give me about this problem?.
Thanks for your help!.
