problem with mpw2200

hi all

the problem with ricoh mpw2200 is give me the massege (front cover is open )

i checked the right switch door in input check and its ok its

and i checked front pre sensor and its also ok and work properly

but when i checked the left switch door in input check the last digit (ooooooo1) the digit (1) never change to (0) like (right switch or another sensor )

and i checked all connector \ its ok

any one can help me please

If this information does not tell you where the problem is, you are not a tech. Either that or you need to find a new line of work. Hire a qualified technician.

i replace all switch door and checked the connection and wiring >>all this is ok and work properly

but the message is still ( front door open )

any one can guide me how to reset or resolve this problem

There is a problem with your model number: It is either an mpCw2200 or MPW2400 as I cannot find a MPW2200 anywhere.Please correct this then we can attempt to help you.

hi all,
I have face same problem still no soluation. I have worte to ricoh As per they advice i have change the print head colour and black, MCU BOARD ,HRD BOARD, POWER SUPPLY BOARD, still the same......

Hi all,
I have installed MPCW2200 machine more then 20. most of the machine we are facing problem paper jam. any body facing same problem please let me know. I have updated the latest faimware and some machine i have replace ENCORDE STRIPPER temporary machine will work.

Check the ribbon cables near the Print Head. Tech Service Bulletin 8 covers this.

Most often this occurs because there was a loss of the 5v trigger which comes from the print heads through to the
MCU Board. This 5v line is used by the MCU to turn on the 37 volts coming from the Power Supply and going
through the Front Cover Door Switches.

hello You have a problem with the Engine Board!
After changing Printheads or some other Parts in this Area you have to disconnect Flat Cables. This flat have connection lines they stay very near to each other, and by reconnecting this its a very dangerous procedure to get them to the right place. often you get there a schortcut here and after reinitializing the machine schow you open Door switch. I see this by more than 10 machines used ore near new. try this i think its the Problem for this MPC W2200
