    MP11000

    I am facing a problem in MP1100.
    Finisher model SR5000 is not detected by machine.
    At power on finisher is intialized but no indication occur when open finsher front door.
    I update system and engine firmware but problem remain same.
    kindly help me

      Did you get this problem after a finisher fw update?
      Please start you post with brand, model, problem.

          yes
          firmware update did not change anything

              Zaxxon's question was if the problem first happened immediately after a firmware update. The SR5000 may have an incorrect firmware installed or there may have been an error or power failure during firmware update. In either case the Main Board of the SR5000 may need to be replaced.

              From TSB B830-013:

              SUBJECT: SR5000 FIRMWARE CANNOT BE UPDATED
              SYMPTOM:SR5000 firmware cannot be updated.
              CAUSE:The SR5000 has D375 firmware installed.
              NOTE: If the SR5000 was previously installed on a D014/D015/D078/D079 series machine, then the
              D375 firmware was installed.
              SOLUTION:To re-install this Finisher on another product after it was removed from a D014/D015/D078/D079 series
              machine perform the following steps:
              1. Remove the finisher Adapter Kit Type C; re-install the original motor brackets and harness that were
              removed during installation of the adapter kit.
              2. Replace the Main Board of the SR5000 with a new one (P/N B8305061).
