Re: Best Ricoh models under 40 cpm's
It is usually a wash if you only get half the life out of a rebuild and 80 or 90K from a 1027 PCU

Re: Best Ricoh models under 40 cpm's
The color machines 28 cpm to 50 cpm are very easy to service. If they only need black and white you can lock down the color option. Swapping out a drum
is easy and most cases the developer lasts the life of the machine, or if not then maybe just one dev change.
Fusers on the mpc machines ending in 00 and 01 are solid and long lasting, machines ending in 02, fusers don't last as long but the are easy to rebuild.Leave a comment:

Re: Best Ricoh models under 40 cpm's
For me definitely the best machine and easy to service is MP 2851-3351. For the drum and developer unit you can put in Master type 1027 (every 60 but they can do it quite easily till 90k) and it is straight swap, transfer unit is also a unit with only a slight push is needed to install (around 120k), the only thing to learn here is how to refurbish a fusing unit (around 120k). But if you (or any of your colleague) did this on 2022-3025 or any other similar machine it is almost the same..
This machine is fast & reliable with color scan, and has better fusing unit housing which was real pain in the ass on the previous modelsLeave a comment:

Best Ricoh models under 40 cpm's
We are primarily a service based company and we maybe migrating over to Ricoh from Canon in order to increase customer base. Since Ikon was bought out by Ricoh the potential Canon customers in the area has dropped dramatically. Since most small business's don't really need much more than 40 pages per minute we would like to concentrate on that segment for now. What we are looking for is the best Ricoh running and ease of serviceability models made in the last 10 years or so. We will still be servicing and selling used Canons but would like the option of offering Ricoh since they are much more plentiful from our wholesale supplier.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.Tags: None
