    jamming on duplexing (MP 3351)

Guys, any idea why document feeder does not work while doing duplex copying? Paper will just come out and will not take the reverse side.

take the rear cover of the adf and at the end of a transport roller (rear end) you will see a little white gear (I don't know exactly name in English) this gear just turn to one side, if you can turn the roller forward and backwards, you have to change this gear. Tomorrow I look for exactly name and p/n if you need.

It sounds like a problem with the junction gate. Either it is sticking at the home position or the solenoid or solenoid linkage is bad. With older models the pads used to prevent a clicking noise when the gate returned to HP would become sticky and prevent the gate from working.
