Network Support firmware version needs to be 11.96 or higher to scan to Windows 8 / 2012 Server. If it already at that level, then make sure you are scanning using a local account username and password, have all firewalls turned off or set to allow SMB ports, and turn off any anti-virus. (esp. AVG, Norton, Kaspersky, as these all interfere with SMB.)

Correct on the advice. Looking to get the firmware files. No longer have access to Ricoh's tech site so looking through 3rd party sources.

Looking for anyone out there that has the updated firmware file for scanning to Windows 8 SMB. I can browse all the way to the shared folder and passes the connection test but won't let info go into the folder. Pretty sure that's the firmware fix
