Pressure roller heat detection is via two contact type thermistors (centre/end).

I would check they are not dirty / out of position / faulty (temp display SP1106-003/004).

A incorrect low temp reading could lead to overheating and hence a hard thermostat blow.

    Re: Savin C9025 SC565

    [Symptom]

SC573 (Pressure roller overheat 4 (software error)) is displayed. After resetting the SC573, the machine operates normally only for a certain time, then SC565 (Pressure roller fusing lamp consecutive full power 3) is displayed next.

    Note:
After resetting the SC573, the machine operates normally. But after 5 minutes, SC565 is displayed. After resetting the SC565, the machine operates normally for 5 minutes.

SC573: The detected pressure roller temperature stays at 230C or more for 1 second.
SC565: When the fusing unit is not running in the ready condition, the pressure roller fusing lamp keeps ON full power for 250 seconds or more.

    [Cause]

The pressure roller thermostat or pressure roller heater is disconnected.

    [Solution]

Replace the pressure roller thermostat or pressure roller heater.

    Note:
Because the machine can operate for 5 minutes after reloading, you can change the AOF setting to 1 minute as a temporary workaround. (Be sure to replace the part when it is delivered to you.)
