The MP C2030 has its own Fax Option (Type 2530 Fax/EDP Code 414630) and the C2050/C2550 uses Type 2550 (EDP Code 414925). Good luck.

i hear you but i have seen a lot more mpc2030 s wth fax..

as is i put one in my spare mpc2050 and it comes up in user tool,service and when i pull the blank cover over
where fax button should be and hit switch it works..
now i didnt connect a phone line yet but as long as it didnt blow up any boards im happy right now..

Main difference appears to be memory. As pictured in the FAX installation portion of the manual, the D433 Fax option for the MP C2030 and MP C2530 only has one memory chip on the MBU and does not have the connector for adding additional memory onto the FCU.

Same product family, different speeds. The 2030 an 2530 are limited feature models. They do not come with HDD and are limited on address book size, a couple of other options that require HDD.

i saw that but it does fit in there and i just bought some
3 volt battery holders that solder on to the small fax brd"mbr brd"??
and then you just insert a new battery..
will post a pic for those that might need to change the 3 v lithium battery
down the road.....

Different product codes, so most likely won't work.

anyone know if a mpc 2030 fax option work on a mpc2050?mpc2550?
im going to pick up 3 volt battery holders to fix a couple of mpc2030 fax brds and could use them wth a few mpc2050/mpc2550 i just placed.
