[Error Code] SC-355 - copying will start after warm up

Hello,

I have a MP 2851 that will log a SC-355 but will only show it in the Service Program mode.
The other thing it's doing is when HDD is connected it will come to ready but never make a copy.
When the HDD is removed it will always say "copying will start after warm up".

Help.

SC 355 is the ID sensor.

The Russian and Orval family after the C4 (3025) all throw random 355's. Depending on the controller configuration, the HDD needs to be attached for proper functionality. Pull it and format it with a SATA caddy, all should be spiffing after that.

I was thinking the 355 was also the ID sensor which logs in the SMC or SP mode I believe if it fails it goes into a default mode or uses the TD sensor for toner adjustment usually causes overtone conditions, could be a bad/dirty sensor or time for PM on the developer. The HDD probably needs reformated or replaced to fix the boot/copy issue.
