6502 is too expensive, my church offices, uses MPC2800/MPC2003 range copiers.

If you're looking for a very specific color, and you want that color to stay the same all the way to the end of the job ... that could be a challenge. Kyocera color has improved a lot over the years. You'll get the best yield off your consumables if they run 100% color, and long runs (just like any other laser based device).

11 X 17 duplex 2 or 3 pages folded/stapled. They currently use an xrocks at 35 cpm so eather will be way faster than wax city. They seem to spec out colse to the same, unless I am missing something big. Other that the ricoh using way more toner, any other problems with the 6502?

They had days where they were told tec would be there and it was 1-3 days later and often had to wait another day for a part. I am usually there same day/next day and have been out there at 6PM friday knight to get the bulitins done. The Mita just has to do okay color but run. And Mita is all I got to go with. How big of diffrence is there in CQ? Other than spots on drum and bed belts throwing the rubber strip, the TA250Ci group has done okayish.

Since you say it will be used primarily for church bulletins i take it that the 800 in your first post is the number of bulletins that they will be doing a week. Unless they are doing a lot of other printing and copying, the MP C6502 would be major over kill. An MP C4503 or 5503 would be more appropriate for the monthly volume.

How important is color matching, color quality? Kyocera is the fourth best brand we sell as color quality goes (and we sell four brands). =^..^=

The MP C6502 is a very good machine other than the toner consumption. Timmytronic just posted some SP changes that he has done that appear to help the toner consumption http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ri...ner-waste.html go to last page.
