    Opinions on Samsung printers

As the title suggests, how do you rate the lower range Samsung printers Clp-415,,Xpress M2825 and M2675 mfp for reliability, features and running costs. Currently looking at these for the lower end of the market.
    Thanks for any input.

The lower end sammy's are just that lower end. To make them profitable you have to cash in on all possible warranty reimbursements. Features will be OK, speed OK, but Samsung does a lot of frimware upgrades on their machines.

      Hey Tb,Cheers,
Are they any way reliable? I remember the clx2160's with plenty of fuser jams and such.
      Thanks for your input.

        Re: Opinions on Samsung printers

We were a Samsung dealer for a couple of years. Prepare yourself for lots of melted down fusers, and endusers thinking that their $200 desktop printer is a production number, and should be able to print 80# cover glossy inkjet paper. The most common problem with servicing the low end Samsungs is that most of them do not have display screens, so the enduser shows up and says "It doesn't print. Yeah, and some of the light blink, and some don't. ... no I don't know anything else." It can be very challenging trying to figure out what the hell you're there to fix. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
