U2-60 code on Sharp MX M283N

I went to the SharpUSA.com site to find the download of the firmware to correct the U2-60 code on the Sharp MX M283N. I cannot find any downloads to correct this issue. Can you give me the location or a source to reset or update this issue. Thanks.

This type of service is new to me. I see in the service manual to install the firmware onto a USB device and the copier will install it using SIM 49-1.

Any other advice will be greatly appreciated. I just sold this copier, and the customer and I would like to get rid of the code coming up.

    Thanks again,

Sharp keeps their firmware in sources available to registered techs, and not available to the public. Contact your nearest Sharp representative to see about getting some firmware upgrades performed; if a firmware upgrade experiences some difficulties you may be sitting on a large paperweight.

In regards to your U2-60; that's actually requiring the watermark firmware and not the standard firmware files. I suspect you're an end-user who got their hands on a manual and is now trying to play technician... You're treading dangerous waters, friend.
