MX3140 password reset

Hey, We all know the new way to reset the admin passwords on some of the newer machines eg. 5111, 2610 3115, but with out yet getting a chance to look. Is it the virtually the same on a MX3140 machine? Is what is needed still on the board? Thanks P

24-30 will initialize the administrator password.

have a look at the MFP pwb.
if the tiny dips are there then you know what to do.

Yeah, they are there. Job successfully done. For those that said use sim 24-30. Look in your manual, there's a reason I posed the question in the first place.
