    MX-M 453N

I have a Sharp MX-M453 that a tech cleared the Copy count in SIM-24-6. So now when the end user is called to get a copy count for billing, under System Settings/Total Count/Job Count, the count reading has changed. Is there anyway to re-write the original count back into the machine ? I have looked in the Service Manual extensively and found nothing. Thanks ahead of time .

The counts the customer can access were zeroed out at one time.

They can't be changed, just reset to zero.

Check Sim 81 in extended test commands. On my MX2600 it shows the copy count and print count as well as other clear-able counters. Those might be the counters you are looking for.

I got it, thanks guys ! There is a back door to rewrite the current meter that was accidentally cleared in SIM 24-6 . Boss says I can't share. Thanks for the input.

Good for your boss, I know the procedure is already posted, but the less it's out there - the less 'Goggle' search will find it.
