    MX-3570 - Billing Codes

Client tracks and bills for copies.

Are you able to disable the "Bypass Billing Codes" on the copier?

When printing out the report, even if you select user name and/or Login name, it does not display the username the billing code is associated with. Is there a way to acheive this?

Sharp says no, but I have heard of one possibility for the Bypass issue. They say to disable "Allow Printing from invalid user". I have not tried this yet.

User codes would solve these 2 issues, but would present the issue of not charging correctly on the printing side.

    Any help is appreciated.

Sharps site seems to be down right now, but I think I just read a bulletin mentioning that you have to print out the job log to get billing info.

Thanks for the info. I have seen the bulletin, but I cannot get the names associated with the different billing codes to print out. There is close to 300 codes and she would need to cross reference the codes and the names to correctly bill all the different accounts.

It looks like people will always be able to bypass printing codes and you cannot print the report with the username associated with the user number. We will be trying the Kayleigh Job Accounting OSA program.

          Thanks for your help
