    4141-5151 Tray One jams

First, my company uses the green MX850RT rollers on basically all of our machines. Never had any problems.

But we've had more than a few 5151 Tray One issues in which the sep rollers get a bare shiny groove rubbed into to it. 95% of the roller looks great, so I am thinking it's over-retarding.

We've taken apart the feed units but we can't put our finger on what's causing this so we've been ordering the whole unit.

Anyone had this issue and figured it out?

Sorry for the picture quality my camera couldn't focus on it very well

I would suggest trying to run sim 50-28 setup adjustment for all trays. That has resolved it before for us. Also...It's wired but we have had a few machines not work well with 850rt rollers until we changed the whole feed unit. Cheap paper also seems to feed better with 1466/67 rollers in my experience so that might be something to try. Hope that helps.

torque limiter is sticking not allowing sep roller(bottom roller) to turn causing the start of a flat spot, if these mfps don't have a high page count you might want to try the original rollers, they have been updated from the ar60rt. the 850rt maybe a tad larger, and flat spot is being created sooner. I start seeing this at about 400k to 800k and replace torque limiters.
