I have an MX 4100 that produces barcode like lines all down the whole page when scanning or copying. Same on color or blk. Originals change line coloring, but it still kinda looks like barcodes. Prints looked perfect and all supplies are within normal life.
I have another machine that I swapped all the scanner controller boards and copy lamp components with and it didn't change these weird characteristics.
After vacuuming out the optics cavity and the CCD unit, the defect went away for a few copies, then reappeared.
Weird, any help is appreciated.
