    AR-M257 L4-01

    Hi all,

I have an AR-M257 with close to 500k copies on hit giving me L4-01 trouble code.

I have replaced Drum unit, dev unit, and swapped out fusing units. I also replaced the main motor with one from a working machine, still coded out. Also swapped the main board on the machine and still coded out. Running out of ideas of where to look or why the code keeps coming up.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advanced!

Testing with 25-1 is ok ?
Let the machine run with another toner unit

TT-012916_5 lists what is more than likely needing replaced. It isn't specifically for the AR-M257, but it is in line with the same critter.

It was the main drive unit....gears had seized up and would not turn at all.

          Thanks for all the responses.
